My beautiful daughters greeted me this morning with hand-made cards and pressies as well as strawberry jam on toast made by Isabella, yummy!
Happy Mothers Day they said with a smile
and lots of cuddles too.
Isabella, 8yo, made this card and certificate which is awarded to:
My Special Mum for understanding my feelings and caring for me.
Isabella also made this with Skitch and asked if I would post it on my blog for all mum’s out there:

This one is from Nelly, 5yo, who wrote on her certificate:
On Mother’s Day I will give you a Big Hug and Breakfast, Love Nelly.
Nelly tried her hand on Skitch too and this is what she came up with
So as you can gather, I have two talented little girls who I cherish with all my heart. Not only do they make wonderful hand-made cards, but they are following in my footsteps playing around on my Mac and the tools I use. Some more geek girls in the making
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon out at a local cafe with grandmas, aunts, uncles and cousins. It doesn’t happen often and I am glad we made the effort to be together on this special day.
Blessings to all mothers out there who are reading this and my wish for you is that you had an awesome day and were treated like a Queen ( like my friend Paula says).
Just before I go, I wanted to leave you with this quote from one of my dear twitter friends…
This has been a most Happy Mothers Day in Melbourne. How did you spend your day? All stories are welcome here.

tee hee… my biggest kid!
Thanks for your lovely words xoxo
Hi! A belated Happy Mother’s Day Ange! I spent Mother’s Day down in Melbourne. It was the first time there and I must say I was impressed! , and that’s coming from a New South Welshman, how’s that! My whole family was down there for the occasion and to celebrate my sister’s 50th. Loved Southbank, a bit like Darling Harbour but far bigger and far more to see. Not into Casinos but went there as well. Came in handy to keep out of the cold though! Of course, DFO came in handy as well. The wife came away with a NUMBER of new shoes. Who would have thought you could buy them for 70% off! Yeah right! Anyway, Take Care – Peter
