Okay… I have made it back from the seminar and my feet have touched the ground again so let me tell you about the 4 Day Education for Life seminar with Jamie McIntyre.

We, that is my beautiful partner and I, registered on the Thursday evening prior, to escape the crazy crowds on Friday morning, and we are so glad we did as there were 700 attendees at this particular venue all ready for an extra-ordinary weekend. Having attended twice before, I was aware of what to expect. As for Chris, he had no idea of the impact it would make on his life.

Emotional Intelligence

Jamie spends the first day introducing us to Emotional Intelligence and how important it is to develop a certain mindset in order to be able to make important decisions relating to your finances and creating wealth. To master your finances, you must first master your emotions, therefore, developing a sense of awareness of our surroundings and ourselves is the first step.

I think we all know this and somehow, there are still some of us out there who find it a challenge even to make a decision at times, let alone how we are to spend our money or what kind of investments we should make. Let me ask you this. Do you think that a millionaire would think differently to someone who relies on a pension perhaps? Of course they would. Now the reason I am using this extreme example is simply to make a distinction. The millionaires perception of an opportunity would possibly never occur to a pensioner, so that is why re-wiring the subconscious mind and developing the mindset of a millionaire plays such a big role towards your success with the following strategies. The academy graduates who have done this have gone on to create a life that they love.

BILL STACY
“Apart from me? Ok… I just retired my Sister, pulled my Mum off the pension and retired two of my closest friends. I have a cousin who is supplying his own funding for UNI instead of relying on Austudy. I have 3 other cousins who are on the verge of leaving their jobs and know personally of at least 5 or 6 other grads who have left their jobs by replacing their income by other means. Every single one of them feels totally elated and are in a state of disbelief that it has actually happened to them so very quickly. It’s a good feeling knowing that I have changed so many lives. I also appreciate your comments and am glad that my personal goals and successes have inspired you and others.”

Internet Marketing, Property Investing, Stock Market and Business

Creating a synergy of these four strategies is the way Jamie was able to get himself out of debt and become a multi-millionaire while still in his early twenties. Coupled with the mindset, he has done extremely well for himself and having Anthony Robbins as one of his mentors has only accelerated his growth.

Now Jamie wants to help others in finding their way to creating wealth for themselves so he has partnered with some awesome speakers who have also produced results to give us their secrets on how to go about it. They included:

Mark Rolton from Massland Property Options, Tony Christiansen - Motivational Speaker, Peter Bland the Ice Man and self-confessed thrillionaire, Angus Knight - Stock Broker, Daniel Kertcher - Stock Market, George Fokas - Sharelord, and Jennie Armato - Internet Marketing.

There were many more but I think you get the drift. Each of these speakers presented their strengths in their area of expertise and where they have been able to master and tweak a particular strategy to make it work for them and have gone on to create abundance in their lives and now in a position to teach others to do the same.

The weekend finished up with a Charity Gala Ball so that we could go on and celebrate the learnings from the seminar. We met some great people whom we will keep in touch with and it’s a great idea to help keep us and them accountable. New friendships being formed under those circumstances are a great asset towards our success.

Jamie’s ebook is available to everyone for downloading and I would love to meet up with you at one of Jamie’s future seminars. Now that would be fun! Let me know if any of you have come across any of these speakers before. Tony Christiansen is a native of New Zealand. He lost his legs when he was run over by a train at the age of 9 and had he went on to become a successful sign writer, pilot, life saver, and he has even climbed Mt Kilimanjaro! Lovely guy and a great sense of humour too. Well worth visiting his site when you get the chance.

What is the buzz with Ange? Well Ange has been absent from here lately and it is partly due to technical issues and partly due to being locked up with a project which will surface next week. Right now, I am here to inform you that Ange will be attending a 4 day Education for Life seminar with Jamie McIntyre right here in her home town of Melbourne starting tomorrow, so she will be absent for a little while longer while she learns the following:

  • How to develop the mindset of a millionaire
  • The history of money and how the systems control it and why it is important to understand this
  • A real life “21st Century Modern Day Education” which enabled Jamie to excel financially, more than what he learned at school or university
  • How to re-wire the subconscious mind for financial success
  • How to generate instant cashflow, even if you have little money to start with
  • How smart investors earn $35,000 per year form investment property - Tax Free
  • What you should have been taught at school, but weren’t
  • The 4 key skills you must master to succeed in the 21st Century, and how others have used these to earn over $100,000 pa
  • 8 ways investors raise money to start investing immediately, even if they have no money

WOW! Well I’m intrigued… are you? Come back soon when Ange returns and she will no doubt tell you all about it. In the meantime, you may like to read Jamie’s book about this list and more for yourself, and then you can come back and discuss it with Ange on her return.

In case you are wondering who I am, Ange has angels who help her out every now and then… especially when she gets caught up like this. I think I should pop in more often perhaps…

Have an awesome weekend everyone.

It’s funny you know… how many times can you recall saying that you can’t do something because you can’t afford it. I bet those words have sprouted from your mouth 1000 times or more over the years… or have they? Don’t worry, I also have been guilty of this in the past.

Since I started with personal development, my idea of not being able to afford something has changed to how can I afford something. We are all born into our own set of circumstances whether it be the country we live in or the family we are born into. We become conditioned in a certain way of thinking and that is what we believe to be so. So unless we change our thoughts and our idea about money, we may never be able to afford that cruise or that skiing trip or even that new car as an example.

Before I came across some of my teachers like Bob Proctor and Dr John Demartini from The Secret, I never believed that I could achieve any kind of financial freedom. I always believed that I had to go to school, get good grades, find a good job and then live off my retirement money which really doesn’t seem to be able to cover the bills for most retirees these days.So let me enlighten you on the 100 people story. The following facts exist for every 100 people at age 65 in Australia.

  • 25 are dead
  • 20 have annual incomes under $10,000 (below poverty level)
  • 51 have annual incomes between $10,000 and $35,000
  • 4 have annual incomes over $35,000
  • yet 1 in every 100 is a millionaire

Here’s another interesting fact:

When Social Security was started, there were 16 people working for every one person on the program. Today, that ratio is 3:1 and in the next 12 years, it is projected to be 1:1 (Source: The Millionaire Next Door)

Scary stuff I say! It’s not a pretty picture that is painted here. So if the idea problem is that we don’t have enough money, how are we going to change our way of thinking and turn that around?

Affirmations

I have found that using affirmations is a great way to help re-train the brain if you like and change that prior conditioning that I was brought up with. I love my parents and I am grateful that they gave me life and because they came from a generation that was born before WWII, when there was a real scarcity factor, that is the way they were conditioned and therefore passed it onto me. So, by using affirmations, it has helped me to think differently and scarcity need not be a factor any more. After all, we do live in an abundant universe where we have all that we need. We just need to tap into the abundance.
Some examples of affirmations are:

  • I am grateful that I live in an abundant universe
  • I now release any and all barriers to my financial and personal success
  • I earn, save, spend and invest my money wisely
  • My money creates more money
  • Every thought I have is transformed into abundance

Simple statements that can be read every day at different intervals throughout your day. You can repeat them whilst showering in the morning to start your day in that state of gratitude and abundance. I even know a couple of people who get on a rebounder and chant their affirmations while they are bouncing! Whatever works for you is great and if you need to adjust the words in the statements a little to make it feel right for you, all the better. Go ahead and create your day to one of abundance. These were examples I thought I would share with you.

Now if you have read this and think that money is not important, I challenge you to walk into a supermarket, fill up your trolley and try to walk out without paying for it. How far do you think you will get? Money is important. Some people would like to have more of it so I am sharing a few things that have helped me change my mindset around it and learn how to make it and how to make it work for me! I am on my way to achieving the financial freedom that I desire and live the life I love to live. How about you?
