Jamie McIntyre says that sleep is over-rated so here you will find the buzz on Emotional and Financial Intelligence as well as Personal Development, Wealth Creation, and inspiration to Live the life YOU Love.
Most of us go through life not really thinking about the results we are producing. We are happy to plod along and follow the herd. We have been told to study in school so that we get a good job and then retire on a pension which is about 30 - 50 % of what wasn’t enough in the first place.
What is noticeable about every self-made millionaire, be it man or woman, they all shared the ability to overcome obstacles… deny defeat… and attain outstanding success in the process - sometimes against incredible odds!
These people just strived for their desires… they knew what they wanted and were determined to get there. They charged forward despite their challenges in life and despite the Murphy’s they encountered.
When you have goals to achieve, there are bound to be Murphy’s that get in your way. If you are strong enough to get around them and charge straight on, it’s inevitable that you will achieve your goals.
I caught up with a friend who is literally giving away how to beat the Murphy’s. Have a look at his special deal and see if you can’t get a few copies yourself and your friends.
I know from personal experience that there are certain things I desire to have and challenges do get in the way. If you do not remain strong and focused, your dreams can just slip away from you. What was it all for then?

Well who could believe that Christmas is just about upon us again? This year it has really snuck up on me. I keep thinking I have plenty of time for shopping and the later it gets, the longer I am in the shops, the more money I spend. Sound familiar.
Here in Melbourne, we have shopping centres open for 72 hours straight leading to Christmas Day. It is amazing how many people you find shopping at three o’clock in the morning. If you do not intend a parking spot, be prepared to wait just as long as in the day time.
Aside from the commercialism of this festive season, it is also a time to reflect and see if you have accomplished what you set out to at the start of the year. I am not talking about New Year’s resolutions as I do not know of anyone who has stuck by any of their resolutions. I am talking about the goals you set and which ones you have achieved.
Goal setting is about having a direction to follow so you know where you are headed. It is about taking baby steps and then putting it all together to get to the result you desire. Not having any desire is like blindfolding an archer and telling him to shoot his arrow. He does not know where to aim for, therefore, no direction.
Do this little exercise right now. Get a pen and paper, time yourself for one minute and write down the things you want. Think back to when you were a child. There was no limit then so there are no limits now. Did you want ten swimming pools with a water slide that connected them all up? Did you want to fly in a space ship? Did you want to travel to all the exotic locations in the world? These are not your goals but things that you want!! Whatever you do not write down you do not get. Go now!
Here’s some writing music for you mmmm mmmmmm mmmm!
How did you go? Interesting exercise isn’t it. When I first was asked to do this I kept repeating myself. Now, I can write for ages with all the different things I want.
Put it out there and ask for it. Believe you will receive and amazing things happen when you do this. You know that size does not matter, whether it is a bunch of flowers or a luxury car. How you will get them does not matter either. We are so conditioned to not be open to receiving what we want that this is what holds most of us back. It takes practice. Just be grateful that you already have the thing that you want.
This wonderful DVD “The Secret” explains this in more detail than I ever could.

Mmmmmm……. somthing to think about.
Well I trust that you gained a few distinctions out of these posts dedicated to Phillip Day. Even if only one thing stands out for you, it’s one more than you had before.

We are on the home stretch now. 29 and counting…
29: There is danger in excess. Remember moderation in all things.
28: Obtain control over your sense of certainty. Try this out would you. Stand up and slouch over with your eyes looking at the floor. How does it make you feel? Not sure? Do you feel that if you went into an important meeting in this state that you would get your point across? More than likely NO. Now stand up straight, head up, eyes looking forward, feet planted firmly on the ground. How do you feel in this state? More certain? You know where you are headed and no-one can get in your way. You feel strong don’t you? Well, you being in a state of certainty changes your biochemistry so that gives you a sense of knowing and feeling good. Have faith and be good at what you do.
26: Climb stairs whenever you can and then go down and up them again.
24: Avoid sugar and fat free items. We all know about sugar and what it does to us, but how about all the “fat free” items we have on our supermarket shelves? They are actually full of sugar. Next time you are shopping read the ingredients on the packaging. I’m sure you will be surprised. The fats which are called Omega-6 and Omega-3 fats are essential fats, because we only get them through the foods we eat. The fats which are called saturated are the bad fats. We get saturated fats from all the meat and dairy in our daily diet. Check that you do not eat too many trans-fats or better still, avoid them all together.
23: Do Not Break The Law. Simple enough.
21: Finding the right person is being the right person.
20: Dare to Dream! There are NO limits.
19: Be Inspired! Listen to or read something that will inspire you and move you towards achieving your dreams.
18: Avoid dreamkillers. That is, share your dreams with those who will support you and not with those that will not.
15: Enjoy silence. In silence we can get the answers to our questsions in life.

Have you had a chance to look at Phillip Day’s site yet? It is well worth a look and especially at the book section. I did mention earlier when talking about psychiatry the he has written a great book called “The Mind Game” which is an interesting read.
41: Manage your anger. Studies have been taken out on violent criminals and it has been found that 100% of violent criminals are hypoglycemic. Hypoglycemia can produce a variety of symptoms and effects but the principal problems arise from an inadequate supply of glucose as fuel to the brain resulting in impairment of function. So the trigger for anger is, again, nutrionally controlled.
38: Reduce red meat and grains and especially no pork! Pork contains the highest amount of carcinogens than any other meat. It is all about the chemical processes it goes through before it gets to our tables.
36: Give yourself permission to recover. If you are hit by a bug, then you must allow your body to recover in order to return back to your optimum performing state.
35: If you find it difficult to eat raw veggies, then juice them and make them a part of your daily routine.
34: Own a good conscience. Be blameless.
33: Exercise prevention. Keep your body healthy and free from harm. Do not get sick in the first place. Knowledge is power.
32: Deal with Addictions. Do not let them override your life.
31: AVOID NATIONAL MEDIA. Can you tell I totally agree with this one? Personally, I keep away from television and newspapers. They are bad for your mental health. If you start the day with all the “bad” news that is reported from around the world, which does not nesessarily have any affect on your life directly, then why let it bother you and leave you feeling distraught for the whole day? If you must read a paper, then take a look at your local paper with stories that would directly affect you and then you could follow what is happening in your community.
Have a most outstanding day!
